This morning I was at my desk, with some Jim Croce turned up all the way to eight, when I came across this news story.
"Wis. man cited for 'rocking out' to John Denver"
http://news.yahoo.com/
"A police who responded to the man's apartment last week could hear Denver's music through the door. The officer pounded on the door but the man didn't answer. Finally the officer found out the man's name from a neighbor and called to him, bringing the man to the door."
Early to the crash, early to the hi hat, thank God I'm a loud drummer.

"When asked why he had the music so loud, the man said he was "rocking out.""
I am the eagle I live in high country, in rocking cathedrals that reach to the sky...

"The Reporter newspaper in Fond du Lac reported that the 42-year-old was cited for unnecessary loud noise. The ticket could result in a fine of about $210."
Rocking backstage hiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh in Colorado...

At work I've been trying to source a high-pressure compressor for a very large device, it needs a lot of capacity. Maybe the job would go better if I pumped up the Air Supply.

[editor's confession: I adore John Denver, listened to that Greatest Hits album many times, and all the lyrics mis-quoted here were off the top of my head.]
