[First a side note - yesterday's blog is getting a crazy number of hits Maybe I need to fake-swear more. You cogsmugging bastages is hurtin' my sommanabatchin' brain...]
It's
generally assumed that doctors are smart. At a minimum, they get
through a lot of school and work hard for the first couple years.
Those who open their own practice then need to take on all the issues
faced by small businesspeople, from stationary to toilet paper to
office decoration to hiring and payroll. Maybe at some
point the brain really does become full. And maybe it can be a
little fogged by the newfound status of having subordinate
employees. Young, pretty, employees....
When spying on your secretaries in the potty, do not have the bill for the spy equipment go over said secretaries' desks!

North Hills doctor was arraigned yesterday on charges he installed an
air purifier with a hidden video camera inside a bathroom at his
cardiology practice, police said."

"The purifier was purchased at thespystore.com, police said at a news conference in Mineola yesterday.
The
purifier, listed for $699, features a "built-in color camera and
carrier current video transmitter [that] is completely undetectable,"
according to the Web site.
The doctor's office staff discovered the device after receiving a bill from thespystore.com, said Det. Lt. Kevin Smith.
The
staff looked at the Web site and recognized the air purifier listed
there as similar to the one recently installed in the 8-by-8 office
restroom, Smith said.
Pacienza was arrested at his medical office around 5 p.m. Friday, police said."
